Recent Service: Serviced at Studio Electronics, Inc. located in Burbank, CA.
Iconic Effects: The H3000SE is most famous for its rich and distinct pitch-shifting/harmonizing, including the pioneering diatonic pitch shifting that stays in key, and the signature "micropitch detune" used to create lush, wide stereo effects on vocals and guitars. Other effects include high-quality delays, reverbs, chorus, flanger, phaser, vocoder, and a "Patch Factory" for creating custom algorithms.
Unique Sound: The H3000SE has a specific "vintage" digital sound, often described as having warmth, punch, and clarity.
Versatility: The H3000SE offers a wide range of effects in a single 19-inch rack unit.
MIDI Control: The unit is fully MIDI controllable, allowing for real-time control and automation of parameters
Expanded Algorithms: The primary benefit is access to the complete set of H3500 algorithms. This includes all the standard pitch-shifting, delay, and reverb effects, plus advanced algorithms like:
Mod Factory One and Two: Late-generation algorithms that include delay ducking, BPM delays and sweeps, compression, manual flanging, and smooth autopanning.
Multi-Shift: A powerful program with two six-octave pitch shifters, delays, panning, and patchable feedback paths.
Band Delay: A multi-tap delay line that feeds eight resonant bandpass filters.
String Modeler: An algorithm that allows the H3000 to function as an additional MIDI-controlled voice.
Phaser: A thick, smooth phasing effect.
Comprehensive Preset Library: The “Kitchen Sink” upgrade includes all factory presets ever developed for the H3000 and H3500 series, including the "wilder" H3000B presets.
H3500B-DFX Emulation: The “Kitchen Sink” upgrade makes the H3000SE function identically to a true H3500B-DFX
Grab a rare pair of Melcor GME-20 EQs enclosed in Wooden Lunch Box with PSU, vintage 2-band audio equalizer module from the 1960s known for its warm, punchy, vintage sound and its use of the original Melcor 1731 op-amps and is often compared favorably to more aggressive, modern EQs. Key features:
Original 1731 op-amps: The GME-20 was built with the original Melcor 1731 op-amps
Stepped controls: The unit features stepped gain controls for both high and low frequencies, allowing for precise and repeatable settings.
Frequency points: The selectable frequencies are centered around the "key of A," which some audio engineers feel makes the selections more inherently musical.
Low Frequencies: 55 Hz, 110 Hz, 220 Hz, 440 Hz
High Frequencies: 880 Hz, 1.75 kHz, 3.52 kHz, 7 kHz
High and low-pass filters: The module includes switchable high and low-pass filters for more precise tone shaping.
Modern usability: These units are contained into a 2-bay 500 series lunch box

DBX 165A up for sale. This is a very unusual new old stick one. It’s still with original box! I had it serviced after I got it and it’s working well now. Not a scratch on it!
The dbx 165A is a vintage analog compressor/limiter known for its "Over Easy" compression, which provides a smooth transition into compression. It features both automatic and manual settings for attack and release times, a PeakStop limiting function to prevent clipping, and a 30dB dynamic range meter for gain reduction monitoring. This unit was popular for a variety of applications including recording, broadcasting, and live sound reinforcement.
Key features
Over Easy compression: This form of compression is a soft-knee design that gradually increases the compression ratio as a signal crosses the threshold, making the compression less noticeable.
PeakStop limiting: The 165A has an integrated, smooth clipper designed to prevent unwanted peaks from damaging equipment or distorting the signal.
Flexible attack and release: Offering both automatic mode (program-dependent) and manual control for a more versatile and precise dynamic shaping.
Dynamic range meter: A 30dB analog meter that can be switched to show input, output, or gain reduction.
Stereo-strapping: The unit is equipped with matched RMS detectors for stereo operation without signal-summing errors.
VCA technology: This is one of the early compressors to use a Voltage-Controlled Amplifier (VCA) for audio volume control.

Foote control systems clip/sat up for sale. This is known for its almost like tape saturation for the mix bus. Works perfectly.
The Foote Control Systems Germanium ClipSat is a handmade analog audio processor that uses germanium diode strings to shape and saturate sound, similar to tape. It is a passive limiter with a new detector, capable of both hard and soft clipping, and is used for adding warmth, character, and controlled saturation to mixes or individual tracks. Key features include its ability to make low frequencies fuller and more punchy, and it can be used for gentle compression or more aggressive clipping, depending on the settings.
Key features
Circuit: The Clip/Sat Mix uses a passive limiter configuration with germanium diode strings to "gently bend" waveforms, creating a warm, tape-like saturation effect.
Clipping: This unit offers both soft (saturation) and hard clipping to shape the sound.
Controllable elements: This unit includes a hardness control for adjusting the clipping behavior, a high-pass filter (HPF) to control low-end response, an input drive control, and a makeup gain.
Sound: The Clip/Sat Mix is known for adding a "muscular," rich, and characterful sound, especially to the low end.
