Recommended for any stand except Shorty. Here are a few examples of where you might use a 20″ arm. As always, which lengths you choose for a specific goal depends on where you position the stand relative to the sound sources.

On Sidekick – around the drums, use it for kick, toms, hihat… double or stereo mic amps, leslies and seated performers – percussion, guitar, horns and strings.

On Solo – gives you side by side reach for two seated or standing players – horns, backup vocals, strings – double or stereo mic percussion setups, stacked amps or anything else.

On Big Tree – anywhere around the drums, piano, percussion, horn, string or vocal sections… double, triple or stereo mic anything.

Any arm becomes a fixed width stereo bar when adding a second mic mount. Or add a pair of Stub Mounts for width adjustability.
